What this site collects, why, and how to have it removed.

This policy explains how HomeFamilyReport. (“we”) handles information when you visit HomeFamilyReport. Read it together with our terms and conditions.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, address or payment details on this site. What we do collect:

• Usage data. Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, browser and referring site.
• Session recordings and heatmaps. We use Hotjar to record anonymised sessions so we can see which parts of a page confuse readers. Keystrokes in form fields are suppressed.
• Advertising identifiers. If you arrived from an ad, the campaign parameters in the link, plus cookies set by the advertising platform.
• Email you send us. Kept only as long as needed to answer you.

Cookies and similar technology

This site uses cookies and browser storage for three purposes:

• Measurement — counting visits and understanding how pages are read.
• Advertising — the Meta pixel, which lets us measure the results of our advertising and show ads to people who have visited. It may set a cookie in your browser.
• Attribution — we store the campaign parameters from your link in your browser session so the merchant can credit the right campaign if you buy. This is not used to identify you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not stop you reading the site.

Third parties we share data with

We do not sell personal information. Data is processed on our behalf, or collected directly in your browser, by:

• Meta Platforms — advertising measurement.
• Hotjar — anonymised session analytics.
• Affiliate networks and merchants — when you click a product link, the destination site receives the referral identifier and then operates under its own privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email contact@homefamilyreport.com and we will respond within the period your local law requires.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, email us and we will delete it.

Retention and security

Analytics data is retained in aggregated form. Session recordings are deleted on the provider's standard schedule. We use industry-standard measures to protect data, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
